With a year-round population of just 3,000 people, Blowing Rock offers over 100 stores, fine restaurants and other tourist attractions, but when the holidays roll around, you'll feel like you've stepped back into the 1950s. Enjoy the annual Christmas festivities, with Christmas in the Park and the town lighting ceremony after a day filled with entertainment, food and lots of fun.
There are so many things to do in such a small area that it's hard to list even a small fraction of them. You might spend an afternoon or evening exploring the caverns at the nearby River and Earth Adventures, which offers year-round cave adventures, or spend a lazy evening sitting around the fire in your NC rental cabin living room or den.
